Health Fair in St. Georges
We participated and hosted two separate Health Fairs where we were able to engage with the community of Grenada . Our first health fair was in St. Georges in the middle of what we would consider a downtown area. We were all under a giant tent in the middle of one of the busiest markets in town. Our prime location was the major reason why we had over 300 people at our Health Fair.
At the Health Fairs we had multiple stations that encompassed taking blood pressures, blood glucose, calculating BMI, eye exams, breast exams, and stations of education pertaining to dental hygiene and nutrition.
